David Yoskowitz is featured here with his ray of sunshine, granddaughter “Poppy.” Dave spent the last 18 months fighting pancreatic cancer and subsequent metastases. He was an avid board game player, biker, chef, a talented programmer and a zealous Trekkie. He received platelets and red blood cells during his multiple rounds of chemotherapy and radiation. Dave passed on December 25, 2022. This Red Cross Blood Drive honors Dave – his humbleness, his quick and quiet laugh, his love of family, and enjoyment of every day.

Every blood product donation improves the quality of the blood bank, and helps patients in their healing journey, so please join us on February 20 to honor Dave’s journey and others like him by donating blood.

There will be some homemade goodies in addition to the usual RBC supplies provided to help replenish you after your life-saving blood donation. Although Dave is not in need of blood anymore, there are so many that are! Please come out and support this drive in honor of Dave Yoskowitz.
