Online Giving

We use EasyTithe for online donations; payments can be made with a checking account or credit card. To make an online donation visit the Online Giving page which includes a giving form. You can make a one-time contribution or you can setup recurring donations. You can specify whether the contribution should go to the General fund or to designated categories.

To make a one-time donation, click on the fund drop-down list to choose the area(s) in which you wish to donate. Enter the amount you’d like to give, and click Donate Now. Enter the method of payment (Visa, Mastercard, Discover, AMEX, or ACH) and billing information and select Donate Now to complete the transaction.

To setup a recurring gift select Sign In and you will be prompted to create an account. You will then login and can setup the recurring gift. Choose the fund name(s) from the dropdown list. Add the amount you’d like to give. Select how often you’d like to give under frequency and select the start date. Enter your method of payment (Visa, Mastercard, Discover, AMEX, or ACH). Click “Give Now” to complete the setup.

An email will be sent confirming the information of your recurring gift as well as a separate email with your login information.

Payment by Personal Check or your bank’s Online Bill Pay Service

Please make checks payable to The First Church of Christ and mail to: 55 Church Rd Clinton, CT 06413.

Please note in the memo line the check's designation: worship offering, 2021 pledge payment, etc.

During the Worship Service

If you’re joining us in person, you can place your cash or check in an offering envelope and place it in the offering plate.

Text Giving

You can make a donation by sending a text message with the word GIVE to 860-864-5735. You will receive a reply with a link to the online donation form. You’ll be asked to register with a bank account/routing number (ACH) or credit/debit card your first time. After you setup your account, simply text your gift amount for all future gifts (For example: "$100" or “250.00") to the phone number given above, and it will be immediately applied using your preferred giving method. Don’t forget to save the number in your phone.

Request a Refund

If you make a mistake, text REFUND to 860-864-5735 to cancel your last gift amount. You must text REFUND within 15 minutes to refund the gift.

Edit your Giving

Update your information, switch payment sources and view your giving history by texting EDIT to 860-864-5735.
